Tripolis Park is a unique redevelopment on the Amsterdam Zuidas where monumental architecture, sustainability, and innovative new construction come together. Two of the original Tripolis buildings, designed by the renowned architect Aldo van Eyck, have been fully renovated and optimized. The characteristic, rolling landscape in which the towers are situated is preserved and even enhanced in the new design.
Along the A10, a striking 'landscraper' has been added: a new building volume that partially hovers above the existing towers. This modern extension, designed by MVRDV under the leadership of architect Winy Maas, adds a powerful contemporary statement to the historical complex.
On December 14, 2020, Tripolis Park achieved the BREEAM-NL Outstanding design certificate with a score of 87.75%, making it one of the most sustainable redevelopment projects in the Netherlands. C2N served as the BREEAM Assessor.
