The Peace Palace — The Hague

Since 2004, we have been delivering sustainable and financially responsible real estate solutions. Through strategic advice and leading projects, we are shaping the future of real estate.

Key Features: Improvement of spatial layout, audio-visual installations, indoor climate, and furniture.

The Great Courtroom of the Peace Palace in The Hague underwent a major redesign. The project was initiated because the current courtroom no longer met modern requirements, particularly in terms of spatial layout, audio-visual installations, indoor climate, and furniture. These updates were essential to optimize the Peace Palace for contemporary legal processes and to improve the working and listening conditions.

C2N was involved in the project and was responsible for overseeing the redesign, paying special attention to creating a balance between respecting the historical value of the building and implementing modern facilities.
