Grozette B.V. is a renowned producer of cheese products—including cheese powders and grated cheese—for the food industry, retail, and food service sectors. With exports to over 30 countries, the company maintains a strong international presence. Due to the outdated condition of its former factory, Grozette opted for a new construction project on an adjacent site.

The new distribution center and cheese production facility were designed with a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. Waste heat recovered from the cooling systems is used to heat interior spaces and preheat tap and process water. Energy consumption is further reduced through the installation of PV panels on the roofs of both the factory and office buildings.

The project also prioritizes water conservation through the use of water-saving sanitary systems. Additionally, the site features nature-inclusive landscaping that blends seamlessly into the adjacent watercourse, enhancing the project's ecological and sustainable impact.

The new factory and distribution center achieved the highest BREEAM post-construction rating—Outstanding—with C2N acting as the BREEAM Assessor, ensuring compliance with the most rigorous sustainability standards.
