Monarch I is located in a prime location in The Hague, between the Utrechtsebaan and the Prinses Beatrixlaan. The existing building has undergone a thorough renovation, with the structure largely reused, contributing to the sustainability of the project.
On June 1, 2012, the renovated building achieved the BREEAM-NL Final Certificate Excellent. In addition, the BREEAM-NL In-Use certificate was obtained for the Asset component. These certifications highlight the high sustainability standards the building achieved during the renovation.
